My name is Michael Yost.

I am running to be the next statewide Secretary for MAPE.

I hope I can count on your support.

Who am I?

I have been part of the labor movement for nearly a decade. I currently serve as MAPE Local 401's Secretary.

I am running for Statewide Secretary because I want to see MAPE realize its potential as a fighting union committed to the power of the working class.

I support a robust union democracy, where the voice of every member counts.

I work as a research analyst on corporate tax policy in the Tax Research division at the Minnesota Department of Revenue.

I grew up in Oklahoma, but I am proud to call Minnesota home.

I now live in Fridley with my wife, Amy.

We own a house together and we have three dogs.
